Port Stephens Photos

We have two CD's of photographs taken around Port Stephens. "Memories of Port Stephens" contains over 100 photos taken around the area both from ground level and from the air. This shows Port Stephens as it was in the mid 1960's. Including the building of the first RSL in Nelson Bay on Shoal Bay Road. Also, the Ferry that ran at Raymond Terrace, just off the main street.

Another CD that was taken from the air of the same area as the 1960's CD showing the area from Anna Bay around to Fingal to Shoal Bay along to Nelson Bay and down to Soldiers Point and across to Lemon Tree Passage. If compared to the earlier CD, you can see how the areas have grown and developed. "Aerial Photos of Port Stephens 2006", this also shows some of the 1966 black and white photos alongside the 2006 photos to compare the growth of the area. Both CDs have historical value as there never has been a simular project done in Port Stephens.

The galleries below contain aerial photographs taken of Port Stephens from 1966 - 1968 as well as a more recent collection taken during 2006. Please select from the list below to view a gallery. Please note that photographs are available for purchase only on CD/DVD. Not as single prints.

Also available are hard copies of the above, printed on A4 size pages. These are at the same price as the discs including postage.
